Halloween amongst the children...

Well it was all nice to return home
Begin the transformation into magical creatures, ghosties and ghoulies
This year I was a green batwoman witch
My little one was a vampire
why you ask?
Well her dad is Count Dracula
She don't stand much chance!!

I love Halloween
All the beauty of dressing up yourself and the house
We had a few decorations mostly a good jack o' lantaern!!
I wish I could really go to town
Perhaps next year we will do what others in the neighbourhood excel at
It's really big round here#
I love seeing their houses looking spooky!!
Trick or treating is great fun
This year petal cakes was extra generous and gave away half her stash of goodies to the big kids so karmically she's blessed!
Where do Our hearts go?
To find the way home
Obscure but true
He was dressed well for Halloween
Rolled in from the pub looking like himself!!!!
That's enough to scare anyone!!
Why do we act like fools gold
Because it's pyrite!
It's a lovely crystal of fire and might!

The Mabon past..

As the copper hues of the leaves

Drift across the forest floor

May We pray all the more

For an abundance true

From nature

Thank you Mother Earth for the apples

The nuts, the berries

All those beautiful leaves

Thank you for the harvest of the autumn

Welcome to a new world of light

Where all is safe

All is well

The cloak of the Goddess

A cloak so fine

Woven anew each and every year

Leaves and grasses

Nuts and Berries

Copper, Russet all kinds of browns, yellows and reds

Animals I believe are making their winter beds

Thank you Lady for the seasons

Thank you Lord once too

For bringing such a balance

To Us from Nature golden

Thank you for the autumn sunshine

Thank you for each leaf

Thank you for each berry

That heals us from our grief

Thank you for the merry nuts

Of wanders far and wide

Thank you for the gifts You share

As the leaves do glide

Welcome to this season of abundance

Thank you for the gifts of autumn

Thank you for nature and all Her blessings

To the Lord I give my heart

To bring the strength of Light

To respect all Nature

To give a merry dance

To give a moment of celebration

As the jungle lushious grows

I sink into Her with feet and toes

She holds me safe

When to the Lammastide we come

We celebrate the summer done

The summer passed with glorious light

The sun in the sky so bright

The Goddess Nerthus, Earth Mother fine

Goddess of paece and fertility

She shines at lammas for all to see

Her blessed wondrous fertility

It is at this time Her glory is seen

Oh Earth Mother great

How do we gleam?

Thank you for harvest and warmth of sun

How the autumn has begun!

Through stormy seas

Through rich dark forests

She rides out with horses

To see Her World

To greet Her people

This past year at least the year 2014 to 2015 in the house was one of sheer upheaval. Moving past blocks and onto pastures new. Let us pray that with the help of the angels we will once again see the light of the heavens and shine forth to a new day.
