Gone with the Yuletide...

As the blessed wheel doth turn,

Candles of all kinds do burn,

Faeries dance upon the wing,

Angels with their harps do sing,

Yuletide brought the blessing,

Of a bright new world

A safe tomorrow

Kin and kind together,

What'ere the weather!

Thank you Lord and Lady too

For helping Us see the sky so blue

For bringing Us into the light

For the blessing of the Sight

Welcome to this long dark night!

Crackle, spark the fire glows

With logs from Oak

The strength we knows

While She burns, the fire all the more

So the Lord doth venture forth.

Thanks be to One

Thanks be to all

To creatures both great and small

Yuletide becomes a brand new year

Which fills with blessed cheer,

Let's drink a beer

Let's dance and be merry

Summer ahead of cherry.

To all and one

Somewhere is a smoking gun

Why oh why?

The angels fear to tread

Must be making for my bed!

Yuletide approaches soon..

Well yuletide is in the air
Whistles down the street
Happy daze!
Peace and Goodwill to all mankind
Where to now?
Away from the spooks!
Back to the roots
Of pagan strong and wiccan long
Of family celebrations
A long time coming this year
Is This yule ahead
Why do the worlds unite
With the ever bright candles
Of yesteryear
Of tomorrow, today and yesterday
How do we save life

That special mass for Christ

Christ'mastime

Beloved days

Tender times spent enjoying the wintertime

A white Christ'mas we had no matter what rhyme

We partied we danced we drank cherry wine

Everyone here spent a yuletide sublime

We climbed the hills over vale yonder

We saw where the lights shine 

Was His home to boot

Them big black boots stacked warm by the fire

Santa and the Snowman

Laughing again!

Good tidings for the New Year

As we walk toward the New Year

We welcome the presence of the Light

Greatly received in honour

Of His blessed Ways

How glorious He shines

Let the Light be

Everlasting you see

"Perfect beings all are We"

"Magic is One in Three"

The Trinity

May We celebrate the New day that's born

Of celebrations come the morn

Of solstice of the winter kind

Many folk have in mind

Family and friends galore

See the future evermore

The Green Man appears a s a stag

Faeries looking on

Gathering to welcome the future

Of humanity in the Light

Of Lord and Lady

The Might and Safety

Within Her blessed wings

Mother of the Moon

Gracious with a tune

Blessed be

As the seasons turn and so we find ourselves at Yule

Mistletoe is at the ready

Holly berries blood red

Ivy wreaths to bless Our homes

This is where We truly belong

Live Our lives each day long

To celebrate the turn of the solar year

From dark to light

It's ever clear

That a bright dawn will come

To save Us all

The Sun Lord shining

O'er the small

Blessed be the Sun Lord

In the morn

We shall see Him

Come the dawn

Thank you Sun Lord for ever blessing

The Cailleach of Yuletide,

Gnarled and Worn

Boughs breaking under the weight of the snow

Singing songs of an Ancient time

Long, long ago

 

"She carries rocks in Her apron"

Creating mountain and stream

Holding onto the One Big Dream

Of Life as we know it

All that should be!

 

A Goddess of many totems

"She protects the animals wild"

Walking with the wolves

Flying with the Raven

Lying with the Bear

Everyone beware!

 

Lingering awhile at the Loch

Opening the Book

Great winds prevail

Swirling through the valleys

Whirling round the mountains

Storms, snow and hail.

 

Rain pitter patters down the window pane

Tucked up by the fire

The Cailleach knits and pearls

She weaves the Web of Life

Through all the trouble and strife

She finds peace

 

The peace of Her heart

Spreads across the World

Happiness Is!

In an apple or pearl

Deep in Her being

She is All Seeing!

 

 Dancing round the garden
Flowers in Her hair
How mighty is She!
With happiness and glee
Looks after You and Me!

The Snowflake Fairy 

I dance, I dance through the sky
Bringing the joy of winter
Bright blessings I bring
To you and your King
Joy everlasting
Wintertime full of light
Snow so bright

My heart is filled with passion
I am overjoyed
Winter's here
The way is clear
We dance through the sky
The time is nigh
For peace on earth
For the Great Mother's Rebirth
Welcome, Welcome Everyone!

Snowflakes fall
Upon us all
To bless us with dainty love
Prancing around
A new world is found
Full of snowmen and white
A cover for the night
The light it brings
Full of ding-a-ling-lings
Has fairies making mirth
The Great Mother's rebirth!

Yule &the Green Man & the Ancient Goddess, the Cailleach

Yule is the time of the Winter Solstice, when the Sun is at it's lowest in the sky although I feel at it's brightest especially in the snow!!

Snow falls across the Earth, which in Spring will bring rebirth,

As the snow melts and reveals a new world as yet unseen!

Beneath the Earth the world stirs anew,

As the dark Mother births the Sun Child

At dawn he shines with hope and glory

And so is told the Green Man's story.

His child and He shine light o'er the Earth

A time for the Solar Rebirth

Let us rejoice with mirth!

The Holly King hands reign to the Oak

A very different kind of bloke!

His strength and love is from above

Mistletoe, his sacred herb

The Yule Log of Oak we burn

On this night for all to learn

Of His wisdom, might and glory

And so is told the Green Man's story.

The Cailleach awaits the Stags arrival

In hollow hill with fire burning

For Her Lord Her heart is yearning

Blessings are made atween the two

For the coming year

Graceful are the Deer

The Horned One brings His gift

Of light and life to give Her a lift

And so is told the Green Man's story

As the dawn shines o'er the world

The Spirit of the Hare appears in gold

The beauty of His glorious light

Has been long awaited through the night

Bringing new hope for all humanity

With the Sun Child's spirituality

May this usher in a new day

Bringing life a feeling so gay

And so the Green Man's story's told.
