Springtime..

As Springtime blossoms and renews all life

So we begin to let go of trouble and strife

Our new vision of the dawn

Is one that's bright and new

The sunshine returns for all to bask

In the Sun God's glory

Warmth so fine

It dries the clothes on the washing line!!

The Sun God returneth now

We bask in His light and warm Our souls

In springtime's blessed light

However you describe the experience

It's one of pure delight!

Blessed be the light of day

The glory of new dawn

As day breaks we begin anew

To weather every storm

We gathered in the harvest last year

And now it's time to plant

Those seeds of promise

Of a new day

Of food to feed Our tribe

Of bright and beautiful flowers

Of fruit and vegetables of all kins

Welcome springtime

Thank thee dear

Ostara, Eostre

Thank you Great Lady

For this time of year

Is one I treasure still

It brings me new life

It heals ALL the strife

Of winter long time past

Of darkness

Of cold

Of days of old

For new life blossoms here

Thank thee

Thank thee

Lady of Spring

Let the new life truly begin!

Let's nurture life to ever fruit

To blossom, mature and sprout

Let's dance and sing

For life to begin

To really take shape

All around!

Spring blossom..

As spring came to pass,

The primrose blossomed fine,

bright beautiful blooms

That remind me of my woodland home

Thank you for the passing memories of a childhood bright

Thank you for shining through the night

My dear Grandmother Moon

Thank you for the daffodillies that herald a bright shining day

Where all is glorious all is bright

Where singing goes on day and night

as the wheel turns once more

life becomes ever sure

Tender steps of Imbolc time

Have led us here to celebrate

To celebrate life in all Her glory

To tell that ever-lasting story

Of life's young blood

Ever growing ever knowing

Of flowers making bold bright songs

Heralding spring is where daffodil belongs

As Ostara's touch upon the world

Brings colours bright

Let's life spring into being

She opens Her heart to the new

she holds tight fast to what she knew

She grows in wisdom each and every day
Each day and night we pray
For the rebirth of the spring
To breathe life into everything
May the Sun shine ever bright
to cast out the darkness of the night
To bring a new day

As the hare looks to the dawn
so life will be reborn
A garland of spring flowers
Like the Lady's mantle
Spreads o'er the earth
to brighten every day
Let the children play
Roll eggs down hills
Paint and eat
chocolate treats are really neat
Eggs in a basket
hold wisdom for sure
Each a dream to become true
hold tight to each and every egg
Nurture each one til it blossoms
Into a blessed dream alive and well

The Goddess Ostara is a wild , wild woman

Dancing by the fireside

the spirit of the Hare is in Her heart

Rebirth and Intuition

As the flames a'flicker

She dances to the beat

Of Her banging drum

Magic is made to the sound of the music

While the Moon looks on

Her feet tread lightly upon the Earth

To help the Great Mother rebirth

Welcome to the New World!

As the drum beats faster

So Ostara does a twirl

Widdeshins She goes

Banishing all the old energies from Her world

Doesil now with vigour 

Giving Her world a new Light

Pink and Orange hue

Tomorrow will be a sky blue

With happiness She closes the circle

Dancing all the while

Looking to the future

With dreamy eyes

Thank You to the Lady

For all Her blessings kind

With gentle heart She kisses the earth

The faeries fly

O'er hill and dale

The green grass grows 

All around!

Where'ere they grow

Colour doth abound

With joy they sing

Of Earth and ting

With happiness in heart

Bringing delicate nature

To Our worlds!

The blue sky fills with fluffy clouds

Gently they drift by

White upon the face of the heavens

With some news of life divine

Silver linings 
Golden sunshine filtering through the leaves
Green hue to the forest
Bright red berries of autumn
Golden yellows of spring
Heralding a new age
Healing and everyting
Purple Irises look over
The world of pure delight
Beauty in the eye of the beholder
Gentle and pure
Spring has sprung all around
