The Imbolc blessings...

As winter turns to spring

We say goodbye to everything

That's dark or dusty

Or had it's day

To brighten up our merry way

Forward we go with renewed vigour

Laughing at our new found figure

As the weight dropped off

A new spring in my step

Party harder then I'll rest once more

Work harder than that

To feel alive

To make good the bad

To survive

Thanks be for love

Thanks be for praise

Thanks be to all those dull dark days

For all the shining light that burst forth

Into a new world of light we come

To celebrate as ONE

2016 kicked off like a bhang...

I wish there were snowflakes these colours

Like the coulours of my dreams

May snow fall from heaven and light up our world 

Red, Gold and Green

Save a day to be seen

That special mass for Christ

Christ'mastime

Beloved days

Tender times spent enjoying the wintertime

A white Christ'mas we had no matter what rhyme

We partied we danced we drank cherry wine

Everyone here spent a yuletide sublime

We climbed the hills over vale yonder

We saw where the lights shine 

Was His home to boot

Them big black boots stacked warm by the fire

The halloween came by with pumpkin a'plenty

We had the ghost look; pumpkin, toy you name it

Everything ghouly 

Everything candly bright

It all went on that night

Welcome to the new world!

Look beyond the realms of darkness and light

Deep into the heart

You'll see a new day emerge

Bright and beautiful

Here comes wintertime!!

Autumn approaches...

Looking at the good year past

The bright happy summer sunshine

The smiling faces of little ones

Here comes the autumn

Harvest gathered in

A beautiful cornucopia of sweet honey

Happy daze!

Looking at the waves of the ocean

I sink deep

I know how the world can be

At one and in peace

Blessed be

The Autumn turned month by month

Bringing the winds of change

Strong and ever She rolls

Onward upward and away

Flying skyward to the heavens 

And beyond to a world of light

Power and might

Blessed be this night

Summer came in with a blast...

Living here at Shamrock Cottage
Is like a lucky strike
Things abound with good wishes
Circles ebb and flow
People join the merry throng
Some just come and go
Be happy we 'ere say
